Privacy
Policy
This policy explains what personal information Sigma Rizzy Productions, LLC ("we," "us," "our") collects when you visit cultsandcocktails.com, buy a ticket to Cults & Cocktails, or contact us — and how we use and protect it. It applies to this website and to the emails we send you.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us.
- Ticket orders: your name, email address, the showtime and tickets you selected, number of zero-proof guests, and the order total. We also generate an order code and a QR ticket token for your order.
- City interest sign-ups: your email address and the city you're interested in.
- Private event inquiries: your name, email, phone number if provided, and the details of the event you're asking about.
- Correspondence: anything you send us by email, including refund requests.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the site, we and our analytics providers collect standard technical data such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, approximate location, and the date and time of your visit. See "Cookies and tracking" below.
Check-in data. When your ticket is scanned at the door we record the time of check-in against your order.
2. Payment information
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card number, expiration date, and security code are entered directly into Stripe's secure payment form and are transmitted to Stripe — we never receive or store your full card details. We receive only a confirmation of payment and Stripe's transaction identifiers (card brand and last four digits are visible to us in Stripe's dashboard). Stripe's handling of your data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
3. How we use your information
- To process your order, hold and confirm your seats, and deliver your ticket and QR code by email.
- To check you in at the door and manage capacity.
- To send transactional emails about your order — confirmations, changes to your showtime, refund updates.
- To respond to your inquiries and refund requests.
- To tell you about future dates or cities if you signed up for city interest updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To understand how the site is used and to measure the effectiveness of our advertising (see "Cookies and tracking").
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and duplicate use of tickets.
- To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations, and to enforce our Terms & Conditions.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
4. Cookies and tracking
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC) — sets cookies to measure traffic and site usage, including which pages are viewed and, for completed orders, the order value and ticket type (no names or emails). Learn how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.) — sets cookies to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram, including page views and completed purchases (order value and ticket count). Meta may associate this activity with your Meta account. Learn more in Meta's Privacy Policy; you can adjust how Meta uses your off-platform activity in your Meta ad preferences.
- Browser storage — we store a small flag in your browser after a completed purchase so that conversion events aren't reported twice if you reload the confirmation page. It contains only your order code.
- Stripe — sets cookies within the payment form for fraud prevention.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features like the payment form rely on them. We don't currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.
5. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers that help us run the site and the Event, and only for that purpose:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — sending our transactional and update emails.
- Neon — hosting the database that stores orders and sign-ups.
- Netlify — hosting the website.
- Google and Meta — analytics and advertising measurement, as described above.
- The venue — guest counts and, where necessary, names for door lists.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or safety or those of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.
6. How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes (generally seven years). Unpaid or abandoned orders are kept briefly for reconciliation and then may be deleted. City interest sign-ups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Inquiry correspondence is kept as long as reasonably needed to respond and follow up.
7. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the site, access-controlled hosting, and reputable providers for payments, email, and data storage. Admin access to order data is restricted to authorized staff. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.
8. Your choices and rights
- Access, correction, deletion: email hello@cultsandcocktails.com from the address on your order or sign-up and we'll provide, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to records we're required to keep.
- Marketing: any update email we send includes an unsubscribe link; you can also email us at any time to be removed from the city interest list.
- Cookies and advertising: use the opt-outs in Section 4 or your browser settings.
- Residents of states with consumer privacy laws may have additional rights, including the right to know what we collect and to opt out of targeted advertising. You can exercise these rights by emailing us. We won't discriminate against you for doing so.
9. Children
The Event is for adults 21 and over, and this site is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The "last updated" date at the top tells you when it was last revised. Significant changes will be announced on the site or by email to ticket holders.
