These terms govern every ticket purchased for, and every visit to, Cults & Cocktails (the "Event"), an immersive true-crime cocktail hour produced by Sigma Rizzy Productions, LLC ("we," "us," "our"). By buying a ticket, holding a ticket, or attending, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't purchase or attend.

1. Who we are

Sigma Rizzy Productions, LLC is a Tennessee limited liability company based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Questions about these terms, your tickets, or the Event should go to hello@cultsandcocktails.com.

2. The Event

The Event is a live, hosted cocktail experience built around true stories of cults and coercive control, presented by performers and served by bartenders. Showtimes, performers, venue, running order, menu (including specific cocktails and their ingredients), and other details are subject to change without notice. Where a change is material — a different venue or date — we'll notify ticket holders by the email on the order.

3. Tickets and entry

  • Tickets are sold per person for a specific showtime and seating tier. Your ticket is delivered by email as an order confirmation containing a QR code; the same QR code is also available at the ticket link in that email.
  • One QR code covers your whole party. It is scanned once at the door and admits the number of guests on the order. Keep it private — anyone who presents it first will be admitted.
  • During checkout, seats are held for a limited time (about 15 minutes) while you pay. If payment isn't completed in that window the hold is released and the seats may be sold to someone else.
  • Prices are shown in U.S. dollars and include applicable fees unless stated otherwise. A 10% group discount is applied automatically to orders of six or more tickets. Zero-proof (alcohol-free) tickets are the same price as standard tickets and include the same experience with alcohol-free pours.
  • Seating within a tier is not assigned. Arrive by doors to get the best choice of seats within your tier.

4. Age policy — 21+ only

The Event is strictly for guests 21 years of age or older. Every guest must present valid, government-issued photo identification at the door. This applies equally to guests with zero-proof tickets. Anyone who can't show valid ID, or is under 21, will be refused entry and will not be refunded. Please check every member of your party before you buy.

5. Transfers and refunds

  • Transfers. Tickets are freely transferable at any time. To transfer, simply forward your confirmation email (with the QR code) to the person attending. No need to contact us.
  • Refunds. You may request a full refund by emailing hello@cultsandcocktails.com from the address on your order at least 72 hours before doors for your showtime. Include your order code. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
  • Requests received less than 72 hours before doors, no-shows, late arrivals, and guests refused or removed under Sections 4 or 7 are not eligible for a refund. Where possible we'll help you transfer the ticket instead.
  • Refunds are processed only by us; the ticket QR code is invalidated once a refund is issued.

6. Cancellation and rescheduling

If we reschedule a showtime, your ticket will be honored on the new date and time — no action needed. If a showtime is canceled outright and not rescheduled, you'll receive a full refund to your original payment method. Refunds for rescheduled showtimes are not offered, except as required by law. In either case, we're not responsible for travel, lodging, or other costs you incur in connection with the Event.

7. Conduct, refusal of entry, and removal

  • We and the venue reserve the right to refuse entry to, or remove, any guest who is visibly intoxicated, disruptive, abusive to staff, performers, or other guests, or otherwise poses a safety risk — without refund.
  • Alcohol is served responsibly. Staff may decline to serve any guest at their discretion and may substitute a zero-proof pour.
  • There is no re-entry once you leave the venue during a showtime.
  • You agree to follow venue rules, staff instructions, and any posted safety requirements. Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

8. Content warning and assumption of risk

The Event is built on true stories that involve death, abuse, manipulation, and coercive control, told with respect but frankly. It is presented in an immersive style with performers who may address the room, in a dimly lit venue with amplified sound and alcohol service. It is intended for adults and is not suitable for anyone who may be distressed by these themes. By attending, you confirm you understand the nature of the Event and voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending, including those arising from the venue environment, alcohol consumption, and interaction with performers and other guests.

9. Photography and recording

We may photograph, film, and record audio at the Event. By attending, you consent to being photographed and recorded, and you grant Sigma Rizzy Productions, LLC a perpetual, royalty-free license to use your name, image, likeness, and voice as captured at the Event in promotional and commercial materials in any media, without compensation or further approval. If you'd rather not be featured, tell a member of staff on arrival and we'll do our best to accommodate you.

Guests may take personal photos before and after the show, but recording of the performance itself is not permitted. Please keep phones silenced and put away during the show.

10. Intellectual property

The Event — including its name, marks, scripts, staging, story treatments, cocktail menu, artwork, and website content — is owned by Sigma Rizzy Productions, LLC or its licensors and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any of it without our written permission.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Tennessee law, the Event and this website are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to the Event, your ticket, or your use of this website. Our total liability to you for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the tickets in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sigma Rizzy Productions, LLC, the venue, and their respective owners, staff, performers, and contractors from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your breach of these terms or your conduct at the Event.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from these terms or the Event will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Knox County, Tennessee, and you consent to their jurisdiction. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted at cultsandcocktails.com/terms at the time you purchase applies to your order. Material changes affecting existing ticket holders will be communicated by email.
